People from all over the world participate in this event. I was matched with a fun and friendly woman from The southern part of the United States. She contacted me right after we found out we were accepted to the party and our blogs were published on Lori's blog. We quickly became blog friends so you can imagine our surprise when we were matched as swap partners.
So far the Bead Soup Blog Party has been very enjoyable. I joined the world of blogging and have made some great friends. I also enjoyed making the jewelry from the treasures my partner Lisa Hamilton gave me. I do wish I would have learned to use my new camera before the reveal. My pictures do not do justice to the beads and jewelry.
Please check out Lisa's blog Simply Irresistible Jewelry she will reveal the things she created with the beads I sent her. If you want to read more about the Bead Soup Blog party go tohttp://lorianderson-
These are the beads I received from Lisa
Here are all of the wonderful things I made from Lisa's beads. Plus I still have beads left over for my stash.
Such creative and detailed work! All Great designs - especially love that bracelet! The combination of the different chains, seed beads and dangles is very fun. Nice wire work.
ReplyDeleteAwesome pieces...great design, great colors.
ReplyDeleteWonderful soup! And you made lovely pieces!
ReplyDeleteOh Wow I love your beautiful creations. I like what you did with the fish focal putting it on top of the metal disk with the grass on it, this makes the fish look like it is swimming in the sea weed. I also like the way the dark metal makes the blue color pop. Beautiful job!

Those turned out so pretty and whimsical. The little fish focal is adorable. I really like the 3 strands in the bracelet. And I love feathers, so those earrings are great. Nice job.

ReplyDeleteThey are all lovely, but I really like how you treated that wonderful fish focal. And those peacock feather earrings are so dramatic! Great job!
ReplyDeleteLove how you paired the fish focal with a disc behind it--it gives it depth--it looks like it's swimming in seaweed! Lovely work.

ReplyDeleteI really enjoy all the color and wire in the fish necklace. The caged beads are wonderful, and I like the layered look on the focal. I really like how you half wrapped the discs on the bracelet, that's a nice touch. You really did a great job with your soup!
ReplyDeleteWow! I love each and every piece. I think it is great to layer the focal the way you did. Along with your use of wire wrapping and metal work. Everything turned out awesome! This was some really Soup-er soup! Tasty too!

ReplyDeleteLove your necklace your wire-work is just lovely.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful colors...
Nice job framing the cute little fish, and those peacock feathers are really cool!
ReplyDeleteI am IN LOVE with all three of your pieces. They are really fantastic! First off, they are BLUE (the best color ever.) But also, I adore some of the techniques you used to make each of them. Especially eye catching (for me) is the simple loops with the beads at the back of you necklace. Wonderfully done!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I love how you've layered the fish focal, making it look like an underwater scene with seaweed in the background. Like that you used different colours of chain in the bracelet. Great job!
ReplyDeleteAll the pieces are beautiful. I love the bracelet...the triple strand and mixing of chains is very nice. Loving the fish focal, too!
ReplyDeleteThe necklace is so nice with those orbital beads and the wonderful wire work you made!
